Donate clothes,toys,bicycles for the Anaganwadi children

Friends, while working on field it has been felt strongly that the kids of the villages won't have anything for their reecreation.They used to go to the Anganwadi Centre just for the sake of food which is distributed there.After receiving the food they used to come back.They won't have toys , colours or any other material which could keep them engaged. While the scenario is different in the cities.The kids have everything starting from the toys to video games , cream to cakes, bicycles to bikes and what not .While the children of the village is not in a position to have even the ice - lolly .They won't have proper clothes & chappals to wear.Recently on 21.05.09 while I had been to an Anganwadi Centre , I was surprised to see that one girl child was wearing half sweater in this summer season when the temperature was running between 26 to 42 degree celcius .She won't have any other dress to wear.This is really a great dilemma.Few images of the Anganwadi visited on 21.05.09 are uploaded here.

To counter this problem it has been decided that the village Anganwadi needs to be made child friendly .Aham Bhumika , Bhopal will initially take up one Anganwadi located in village Kajalikhera , district Bhopal for this purpose.The children of the said Anganwadi will be provided toys ,clothes, wax colours , little bicycles etc. to make the enviornment child friendly.This will encourage the children to spend more time in the Anganwadi Centre.Anyone who wish to join in this venture with us is most welcome.If you want to donate the toys , clothes, bicycles , colours , copies , pencils etc. than please contact us .
